The Australian-born Queen was hit in Nuuk earlier this month when she was touring with her husband King Frederik and children Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent.
The 52-year-old royal was left visibly shaken after almost losing balance and falling to the ground before security jumped in to steady her.
Video of the incident was obtained by Danish news agency Ekstra Bladet, which received confirmation from the Royal House communications department that Queen Mary had not been injured.
Social media users were quick to question whether her security was adequate during the tour.
One described the incident as "frightening".
"With so many crazy people out there you just wouldn't know if someone wanted to harm her," the person wrote.
Another posted "why is a monarch so close to the crowd...like in a mosh pit type crowd".
While a third wrote "security was clearly lacking".
