A man has died after a stabbing at a car park in southern NSW.

Police said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with a stab wound to his chest at a car park in Albury on Monday night.
Emergency workers were called to the Wodonga Place location about 6.15pm.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, was treated by paramedics at the scene but later died in Albury Base Hospital.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and is assisting officers, and police said a report will be prepared for the coroner.
