A woman has been stabbed to death as police search for a man seen running from the scene.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was stabbed twice in the chest before she died at a home at Kingswood, in Sydney's west.
Police and paramedics were called to the property on the Great Western Highway about 1.40pm on Monday.
The woman was treated at the scene but was unable to be saved.
A 22-year-old man was seen running from the area, police have been told.
The woman is yet to be formally identified and an investigation is under way.
Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public following the stabbing.
