Aussie music legend John Farnham has made a rare public appearance, donning a suit and tie to attend his son Rob's glamorous wedding to Melissa Kelly.

The 74-year-old icon was all smiles as the family celebrated the nuptials almost one year after he announced he was cancer free in August 2023.
Family and friends gathered at the historic Hopewood House in Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands region.
The musician's 44-year-old son said "it was such an amazing experience sharing [the wedding] with our close family and friends witnessing our love" in a post on Instagram.
He said he "shared the happiest moment" with his favourite person in the universe.
"Melissa, my life is forever better that you're a part of it. You looked radiant, beautiful and elegant. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us and I'm truly honoured to have you by my side as my wife for life," he said.
"20 years ago when we met I wouldn't in my wildest dreams have believed you and I would marry but here we are, you made all my dreams come true".
Farnham shocked fans in August 2022 when he underwent urgent surgery after being diagnosed with oral cancer that was followed by jaw reconstruction.
