The Illawarra Highway has reopened at Macquarie Pass after emergency services removed a fallen tree.

The highway was closed in both directions at 2.30pm between Mount Murray Road and Calderwood Trail with detours in place.
Emergency services and traffic workers cleared the tree with the highway reopening just before 4pm.
Drivers were warned of extra travel time with light vehicles diverted to Jamberoo Mountain Road and heavy vehicles via the Hume Highway, Picton Road and M1 Princes Motorway.
