Kate and Prince William were filmed by a member of the public shopping near their home in Windsor on March 16.
The video published by The Sun and TMZ shows the couple dressed casually and carrying a shopping bag each as they walked past the car park of a local shop.
It comes after the Princess apologised for "any confusion" caused by an edited photo with her three children shared on Mother's Day in the UK, March 10.
Inconsistencies in the photo caused major news agencies to "kill" the image and pull it from their sites.
"Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing," the Princess said on X the following day.
"I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."
The Princess has been recovering at home after undergoing planned abdominal surgery in January.
Kensington Palace said at the time she was not expected to return to public duties until after Easter and shared a request from the Princess for her medical information to remain private.
