Two Queensland receptionists found themselves in a strange situation when a kangaroo was caught on camera sniffing around the building right under their noses.

The video, released by Noosa Council on TikTok, sees the roo hop confidently into reception as a man and woman diligently focus on their work.
Continuing to take a tour of the building, it is not until a second man exits a door to the right of the front desk that "Skippy" is spotted and the receptionists are alerted.

The council jokingly provided commentary for the footage, suggesting the kangaroo was looking to check-in and waiting patiently for either receptionist to notice.
Before the trio of employees could act the roo clearly changes its mind about reserving a room and swiftly hops out of the building to the surprise of another woman.
