At the Goulburn Club, Deborah Conway AM, along with Willy Zygier, will perform on March 31 from 6pm.
Conway is an Australian rock singer-songwriter and guitarist who has won a couple of awards at the ARIAs. Her band, Do Re Mi, released the iconic Man Overboard off their debut album Domestic Harmony. From there, she has gone on to release plenty more successful albums like "Bitch Epic" and My Third Husband.
Minister for enterprise, investment and trade, minister for tourism and sport, and minister for Western Sydney Stuart Ayres said Great Southern Nights would be a celebration of live music that would stimulate the NSW visitor economy.
"The live music scene makes a significant contribution to our social and economic wellbeing," Mr Ayres said.
"As part of our roadmap to recovery, it is vital that we get it back on its feet.
"This will create jobs for artists and crew, revenue for venues and drive visitation to large parts of regional NSW that have done it tough over the past few years.
ARIA ceo Annabelle Herd said Great Southern Nights would reignite the NSW live music scene after an extraordinarily challenging time for the industry.
"Great Southern Nights will have artists, crew and music venues back to doing what they love and do best - putting on shows and getting people out to experience the joy of live music again" Ms Herd said.
"It was such a huge success in 2020 and is exactly what our industry needs right now, so we're excited to see Australia's best talent wanting to be involved in 2022.
"We're proud to play an integral part in this vital project at this much needed time."
