COVID-19 case numbers in Southern NSW continue to stabalise with 227 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) confirmed the figures on Tuesday with no deaths recorded.
Locally there were 143 cases recorded across four Local Government Areas (LGAs):
- 31 in Goulburn Mulwaree
- 93 in Queanbeyan Palerang
- 8 in Upper Lachlan
- 11 in Yass Valley
After expiring a jump in numbers in December and January cases appear to be holding steady in the region.
Last week saw 218 cases recorded on Friday January 29, a significant drop from 582 on January 20.
There are currently 3258 total active cases in the district, of which 345 are in Goulburn Mulwaree, 65 in Upper Lachlan, 108 in Yass Valley and 908 in Queanbeyan Palerang.
19 people are in hospital with three in ICU.
It is worth noting that positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) results are included in these numbers.
NSW recorded 12,818 new COVID-19 cases and 30 deaths in the 24 hours to 8pm.
The positive cases came from 7913 positive rapid antigen tests and 4905 positive PCR tests, which came from around 36,000 PCR tests conducted yesterday.
There are 2749 COVID-19 patients in hospital, with 186 in ICU, and 70 ventilated.
Hospitalisation numbers are down on yesterday, when 2779 patients were being cared for, however ICU numbers are up one, with 185 in ICU yesterday
