This Sunday, February 6, all four teams will return to action at the Workers Arena for one last day of play.
The fourth round, which was washed out on December 15, will take place this weekend, with another two rounds to follow before the grand final, which is scheduled for 3.45pm.
Competition co-organiser and co-captain of the Stallions, Sophie Broadhead, said the competition had gone as well as she could have hoped for in its first season, despite some small bumps in the road.
"It started off well," Broadhead said.
"There were a few teething issues, but I suppose that's to be expected when you're starting a new comp. But it's gone well so far."
The goal behind the creation of the competition was to provide talented local players with a step-up in competition which would help prepare them for representative touch football.
While there is still some groundwork that needs to be done for the local women, Broadhead said the men have already produced some high-level players who are raising the level of the Mixed Premier League.
"The work that Vaughan [Winnel, competition co-organiser] has done with the boys in Goulburn is showing," she said.
"They're a lot more competitive and we saw the likes of Josh Latham, Aidyn Williams, Lachie Handley - they've all developed and brought up the level at this comp.
"The work that he's put in, it's now showing in the competition. More so with the boys, we need to start the girls younger."
While the impact of the competition has been positive, Broadhead said the format could use some refinement in years to come.
One idea she and Winnel have discussed a potential two-day event which could be slotted in to one weekend during the season.
"We think it would be best to do it as a gala weekend in the future," Broadhead said.
"Just play it over Saturday and Sunday, smash it all out. Because that's really what we don't get here which other associations is a kind of gala day."
The feeling throughout the association is one of excitement ahead of Sunday's matches, which has been heightened by the fact that they will take place at the Workers Arena.
"It's good that the Workers Club kicked in the field for us, because that changes the environment and makes it a bit more prestigious," Broadhead said.
The final day of the Goulburn Mixed Premier League competition will take place this Sunday, February 6, at the Goulburn Workers Arena.
Matches will get underway from 11am with the final scheduled for 3.45pm.
