The Goulburn Rotary markets kicked off earlier in January, where locals discovered various stalls.

Tallong roof destroyed and multiple crews called to clear storm damage on weekend
A storm wreaked havoc in Tallong on January 15, which left trees knocked over, and one home with a "large percentage of its roof" lost.

Seven take citizenship pledge at Crookwell's Australia Day celebrations
Seven new citizens were welcomed in the Tablelands at Crookwell's Memorial Oval. Tablelanders also talked about the importance of January 26.

Taralga community celebrates Australia Day with breakfast and car show
Tablelanders gathered in Taralga to commemorate Australia Day with a car show. Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT also attended to film 11-year old Beau Cosgrove, a much-loved member of the community who has Morquio Syndrome.

Australia Day: What's in a date? Well, quite a lot in fact
A smoking ceremony and Acknowledgement of Country took place at Goulburn Historic Waterworks on January 26.
Everyone was invited to participate by members of the local Pejar Aboriginal Land Council.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are currently in their 235th year of dispossession and yet still offered to share aspects of their culture, one that was almost wiped out entirely, with those whose ancestors dispossessed them.
