Official activities kick off at Barbour Park in Gunning with a breakfast offering a choice of bacon, eggs, sausages, juice, coffee, tea and water from 8am. Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
The Official Ceremonies will follow at 8.45am, with Australia Day Ambassador, SBS sports commentator Michael Tomalaris, presenting local awards for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year.

Activities then jump across to Memorial Oval, Crookwell from Midday to 4pm.
Australia Day Ambassador, Michael Tomalaris will again present local Australia Day Awards, while the Citizenship Ceremony will be conducted by special guest, the Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retired) who will be accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley.
A range of activities will take place across the day including a jumping castle, egg and spoon races, thong throwing, sausage sizzle and other snacks and goodies. Rich Pitcher is performing across the day.
At Taralga, Australia Day activities will be focused around fund-raising for local boy Beau Cosgrove to assist buying a Bi-Pap machine.
Breakfast will start at the Taralga Sports Club at 7am, followed by Market Stalls and the Car, Truck and Bike Show at Gray Park.
Early indications suggest good weather on the day, but rain, hail or shine there'll be plenty to see and do on Australia Day across the shire.
