The racing format was based on a criterium to make it interesting each grade set out at one minute intervals to provide the faster riders the opportunity to chase down the front runners.
On the fast tight circuit it did not take the faster riders to catch and pass the front runners.
A Grade proved to be a tight contest with Jordan Rowlands taking line honours from Jacob Emmerton.
Wayne Bensley rode strongly in B Grade for a comfortable win over Jason Cook.
Phil Champion was too strong in C Grade but the battle for the minor placings was a tight affair between Chris Berry and Mark Stutchbury.
In D Grade another win for junior Elsie Apps over Wayne Skillman and Peter Jackson.
Next Wednesday, January 19, racing heads out to Breadalbane for graded scratch racing. Sign on at the church by 6pm with racing at 6.30pm. New riders are welcome.
