Police have confirmed that a man who died on a Boxers Creek Road property on Friday was aged thirty-one.
The male died at the scene after being electrocuted. Another man with him, aged 29, also suffered an electric shock and was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital in a critical condition.
Police said the men had pushed a steel gate which hit powerlines and arced into high voltage wires.
Friday 10.30pm
A man has died after being electrocuted at a rural property north of Goulburn on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the Boxers Creek Road property, 14km east of Goulburn just after 4.30pm following reports that two men had suffered an electric shock.

Police said one man died at the scene and was yet to be formally identified.
A second man was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital in a critical condition.

Earlier, an ambulance media spokesman said it appeared the men, believed to be aged in their 30s, had been carrying a metal fence when it touched powerlines.
A Toll helicopter with a critical care paramedic and a doctor on board was dispatched to the scene. Four road ambulance crews, police and fire authorities also attended.
Officers from The Hume Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
