The concept was to promote healthy activities to combat mental health and suicide.
Promoter Mal Butterfield prepared for the event over 6 months and brought together mates amongst a group of celebrities who all donated their time to raise funds for Gotcha4life.
Drivers were given two practice sessions followed by a qualifying segment where they were then handicapped relevant from slowest to fastest in a five lap race.
The concept saw the majority of the field hit the main straight on the last lap with a run to the finish line.
Tomalaris blasted off the start line to lead out the entire field all desperate to win the trophy.
Tomalaris, who had no previous racing experience took well to the track with his tutor Shelley, saying he was a great talent transporting his cycling knowledge to the track and was holding on to his narrow lead.
Making his way through the field was Connelly followed by Alexander while Bruce and Clint tussled with Cadogan and Egan.
Manion and Allen had their own battle, but it was Tomalaris who shone through and held onto the lead for all five laps.
He then raced to the finish line, holding off Connelly and Alexander by only 200ths of a second and was given the chequered flag wave by Goulburn Mulwaree Council mayor Bob Kirk.
A bit of argy bargy saw the remaining field held back by three seconds, with them all crossing the line four abreast within a second of each other.
Kimmins was elated with day saying "it was the best ever fun for a great cause".
Fastest lap of the day was by the STAG who made his way from last on the grid to fifth, but it was not enough and Tomalaris walked away with the $500 first place prize of which he immediately donated back to Gotcha4life.
In all, close to $10,000 was raised for the various charities on the day with $6000 going to Gotcha4life.
During the day, all other participants visiting were given track laps and hotlaps and a raffle was held for Autobarn Goulburn spot prizes and the chance to win a Pheasant Wood Circuit built MX 5 race car.
Pheasant Wood Circuit runs many non for profit charity days and there are plans for many more.
