There was plenty of fun, food, drinks and good company as 12 team participated.
The courts were slightly damp, making for some interesting shots, but the tournament managed to get through the entire round robin and arrive at the final.
In good signs for local tennis, the young guns of Ella Ferris and Jarrod Twaddell beat club stalwarts, Natalie Rowsell and Duncan Gray in the decider.
Ferris, who is just 13 years of age, was a particular standout and played a beautiful game.
It was a great afternoon, fast becoming one of the most anticipated tennis events of the year.
