The second round of the Goulburn Cycle Club's summer season was held at Wakefield Park on Wednesday night for the Graded Scratch Races. This week, riders rode in an anticlockwise direction and conditions were perfect for some fast racing.

Jacob Emmerton took out the wind in A Grade from Cameron Roberts in second place.

A large B Grade field provided some excellent racing with James Quade stepping up a grade and taking out his second win for the season. Jeremy Gilchrist finished second with Wayne Bensley in third place.
In C Grade young Elsie Apps took out line honour over Glen Apps with Tony Neate in third place. Elsie has bragging rights this week in the Apps household!
Wayne Skillman returned to racing this week and took out first place in Da Grade. Fellow yellow jersey bunch riders Peter Lucas and Bernie Bugden finished second and third respectively.
Next Wednesday, November 3, racing is again at Wakefield Park for a Graded Scratch Race (clockwise). Sign on is from 5.45pm with racing at 6.15pm. New riders welcome.
