Up to 10,000 vouchers will be offered to residents from South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland to the value of $300, including $200 on accommodation and $100 on attractions and tours.
Tourism Minister Sarah Courtney said the new Tassie holiday voucher initiative is expected to bring $25 million in revenue to the state.
She said vouchers will be available to use in November and December.
"To support greater visitation to the state we are launching a new Tassie holiday voucher initiative that will be offered to residents from South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland to encourage travel during the months of November and December to meet the immediate needs of the Tasmanian visitor economy industry," she said.
