Comment: Don't let your dine and discover vouchers gather dust

Or have you printed them out and left them to gather dust in a drawer somewhere?

Good news! Dine and Discover vouchers have now been extended to August 31, and the Dine vouchers can be used for takeaway as well as dine in.

The vouchers represent $100 for each of us to put straight into the cash register of a local business through very little effort on our part.

And according to several local business the vouchers have provided a much need boost for businesses struggling through the restrictions of the pandemic.

With the lockdown in Greater Sydney many of our businesses have had a significant drop in customers. Meanwhile the current situation with the Delta variant outbreak even has locals nervous and laying low.

While it is important that we follow the rules of the latest restrictions we can still support our business community and one way to do that is to use those Dine and Discover vouchers.

Remember the dine vouchers can now also be used for takeaway.

Every unused voucher is $25 not going into local tills.
