You Beaut! Cult artist Cj Hendry leaves Aussie slang signs in the Highlands and Tablelands

The Brisbane-based artist has embarked on a road trip with her "crew" to install a variety of "non-government issued" road signs of Aussie slang like 'G'Day and 'Woop Woop' across the country.

Ms Hendry shared the addition of a "You Beaut" sign on to the highway on Tuesday to Instagram, and also made a made a pit-stop stop to the Caltex on Bong Bong Street with a straw hat that featured a 'Straya' sign on the band.

In Goulburn, a 'Chuck a U-EY' sign was also spotted on the median strip of Auburn Street.

Her website noted the road-trip commenced on May 10 and will continue until May 20, with clues being given daily on social media.

It also stated that the nationwide pop-ups aim to focus on the "extraordinary Australian landscape".

"A large portion of her supporters cannot travel to Australia so instead she is bringing the quintessential Aussie road trip to everyone via their screens," it read.

Ms Hendry has already installed signs with other Aussie slang in Broome, Bywong, Bondi Beach and Westfield Bondi Junction.

Hendry is known for doing scavenger hunts of prints of her artworks in Australia and the US, and leaving a trail of Instagram stories to tease their location.

Some of these have sparked frenzies among her fans, with t-shirts from the events being resold online for as much as $5000.

Some of her artworks have been sold for as much as $250,000.

Hendry also shared on social media that a trail of copies of her upcoming card game 'Slanguage' are being left behind after she installs the signs for viewers to find.
