The Southern Districts exhibit team has emerged winners at this year's Sydney Royal.

Artist Margie Fitzpatrick returned from her 'retirement' to work on the winning display titled 'Sharing River Space', which depicts a river flowing through the centre of agricultural land.
"Through the display, we have tried to share the message and highlight the importance of sharing river space harmoniously be it with natural habitat, humans or wildlife," she said.
The riverbanks in the display are covered in grasslands and thriving with birds and animals, reflecting a healthy landscape.
The exhibit is filled in with local produce including wheat, seeds, fruit, vegetables and wool and supplemented with grasslands.
"The show has been a great success and had a lot of joy for all of us. After 2008, this year is the first time when the team has won an award for the display," Ms Fitzpatrick said.
'Sharing River Space' theme sends a message that protecting our waterways, specifically the Riparian Zones, which are the interface between the body of water and the land, is important.
"We feel very inspired by the theme of the display and our win. The theme is close to us because we live in an area that has a lot of degradation in the creeks. So, I have been working on the creeks near my place for years trying to restore and rehabilitate them, and understand how they work in their natural environment," she added.
"So, this work was very close to our heart. This is what we believe in so it's very real to us."
The work marks the return of artist Margie Fitzpatrick back to the Sydney Royal arena after she had taken a six-year break from designing the Southern Districts exhibit.
