The first person to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine at the vaccination clinic was Goulburn Base Hospital physician, Dr Ganesh Ramanathan.
He said getting vaccinating was a very important thing to do.
"I feel more safer now that I've done it," Dr Ramanathan said.
"It went really smoothly and there were no problems.
"I think everyone should get it because I know a few people who died overseas."
The new Goulburn outreach clinic is supported by the Wollongong Hospital hub and Southern NSW Local Health District chief executive Margaret Bennett said the clinic opening was a fantastic development in the pandemic response.
"It's a great milestone today that we're providing our first COVID-19 vaccines in Goulburn," Ms Bennett said.
"Every staff member and clinician who works in Southern NSW Local Health District will be offered a vaccination."
The next outreach clinics planned in Goulburn will be from April 13 to 16.
Vaccines will also be available in Bra idwood on April 20 for the first dose, and May 11 for the second.
