St Joseph's Primary School in good hands with four fantastic leaders

The St Joseph's Primary School quartet is vice captains Matilda Smith and Benjamin Brown and captains Carlie Webb and Angus McGregor who were all appointed at the end of last year.

They have been assigned a variety of tasks already, including setting up tables and chairs in the school hall, attending Student Representative Council (SRC) meetings, setting up things across the school and helping with marching.

The leaders explained their reasoning behind applying for the position.

"I thought the role suited me and would give me a chance to speak up and represent the school well," Benjamin said.

Angus wanted to lead the school with pride and spread love.

Carlie, whose older sister was a library monitor, thought she could be a good leader and role model while Matilda, who had a sibling on the SRC a few years ago, just wanted to help out with the school.

The school are delighted with the leaders this year.
