Switch for Nature is Earth hour's 2021 message

Every year hundreds of millions of people around the world in more than 7,000 cities in over 190 countries take part in this global conservation movement.

Earth Hour is an event in which switching off all electronics at 8.30pm for 60 minutes in a symbolic gesture of solidarity to show they care about the planet's future.

This year, all Australians are encouraged to make the #SwitchforNature and raise their voices for nature for the most important Earth Hour yet.

With activation all over the world, 2021 is a critical year for the planet and people are urged to protect and restore nature before it's too late.

Earth hour will begin on Saturday, March 27 with the switching off of electronics at 8:30pm local time and joining millions of people to make the #SwitchforNature.
