The not-for-profit charity provides vital support and donates much needed funds to research. Their main goal is to find a cure to ensure no lives are affected by Cystic Fibrosis in the future.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common, life-shortening, genetic condition in Australia.
Every four days, a child is born with the condition. There is currently no cure and patients are not expected to live past the age of 30. People diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis are advised not to be within six feet of each other. They have be careful which schools, play dates, events and appointments they attend.
The charity's main fundraiser, the annual 65 Roses Dinner, will be held on May 29, 2021 at the Goulburn Workers' Club.
The group also takes part in Bunning's barbecues and raffles throughout the year. In addition, the small but dedicated team meet on the first Tuesday of each month.
The Cystic Fibrosis Annual General Meeting will be held at the Workers' Club on January 19, 2021 at 7pm. All are welcome to attend.
