In the A Grade major semi-final, Richie Jiang's Eagles defeated Mark Soley's Tigers (Soley, Jack Gray, Chising Chung) 6-5.
The elimination semi-final was taken out by Michael Turner's Rabbitohs, who overcome the Panthers side of TK Fun, Bagas Ariza and fill-in Dave Manning 7-4.
The Tigers will now play Rabbitohs (Turner, James Turner, Gerard Gray) in the preliminary final, and the winner will play the Eagles side of Jiang, Robert McIntosh and Simon Jiang in the grand final.
In B Grade, the Jet Setters (Sam Plumb, Nicola Fraser, Harry Mauro) defeated the Dragons (Dave Manning, Kev Fitzgerald, Jacob Mauro) 6-5 in the major semi-final.
This match was an extremely close affair with five rubbers going to five sets. These saw Dave Manning beat Sam Plumb and Harry Mauro, Nicola Fraser defeat Jacob Mauro 14-12 in the fifth, Sam Plumb overcome Jacob Mauro 11-9 in the final set and Jet Setters take out the all-important second doubles 13-11 in the fifth set.
The Pies (Elisa Chung, Bob Philipson, Isaac Mauro) overcame the Sharks (Wayne King, Joanne Dungey, Jamie Miles) 6-5 in the Elimination Semi with two five-setters played.
Joanne Dungey and Wayne King both defeated Bob Philipson 11-9 in the fifth set. Sam Plumb's Jet Setters now go straight into the grand final, where they will play the winner of the preliminary final match between Dave Manning's Dragons and Elisa Chung's Pies.

The club also held its annual Closed Championships recently. The event proved to be a triumph for seventeen-year-old talented junior Richie Jiang who took out three events.
Richie won the Open Men's Singles title over Mark Soley, won the Open Doubles title with partner Simon Jiang over past champions Michael and James Turner, and the Junior final where he defeated newcomer Harry Mauro.
Other results saw Michael Turner win the Veteran's Singles title against Tony Lee, Dave Manning win the B Singles over Simon Jiang, Elisa Chung retain her Women's Singles title over Nicola Fraser, and Jacob Mauro defeated his brother Isaac to take out the C Singles.
The B Grade Doubles title went to Chising Chung and Phil Fraser who defeated Elisa Chung and Joanne Dungey.
A presentation evening will be held on Wednesday, December 2, at the John Lees Centre starting at 5.30pm.
Players are advised that a sausage sizzle will be held and any other food required should be brought and eaten by each individual due to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations.
