Jason Cook was promoted to A Grade following his recent success in B Grade but found the competition tough. Cameron Roberts continues to ride strongly and took out line honours from Robbie Dorsett second and Jason McLaughlin third.
In a large B Grade field Jaemin Frazer proved too strong for young Alex Wallace with Ayla Rudgley stepping onto the podium for third place.
Mark Howard made his return to racing following an extended break. The racing was close and fast with Mark Stutchbury, Ted Goad, Howard, Chris Berry and Michael Hall swapping of turns at the front for most of the race.
Howard made the decisive move at the three quarter mark attaching up the hill to the rear of the circuit and opened up to what would be the winning move. Stutchbury, Hall and Berry were unable to chase down the race leader and fought out for the minor placings.
Berry took out second place with a strong sprint finish over Stutchbury.
