NSW has recorded one new locally transmitted case of COVID-19 in the latest reporting period, as well as five new cases found in overseas travellers in hotel quarantine.

According to NSW Health, the locally acquired case is a household contact of a case reported on Sunday, which was linked to another two previously reported cases.
The source of all these cases remains under investigation, the health department said.
As in previous days, NSW Health officials continued to express their concern over a drop in testing numbers.
There were 7,391 tests reported to 8pm Sunday, compared with 12,823 in the previous 24 hours.
"Testing numbers have dropped recently, which is a concern as it limits our ability to find people with COVID-19 early and contain further spread," the health department said.
"NSW Health is appealing to the community to come forward for testing right away if you have even the mildest of symptoms like a runny nose or scratchy throat, cough, fever or other symptoms that could be COVID-19."
This is important throughout the state, but particularly the Western and South Western Sydney areas.
