One of those was Pirate Day on Thursday, August 13 where teacher Kathy Staples said students and staff dressed up as pirates and practised the "ar" sound.
"There were lots of fun activities on the day including completing words on the chalk wall, telling pirate jokes, writing poetry, colouring in, participating in a treasure hunt and decorating some pirate cookies," Ms Staples.
She also said Education Week was held the week before.

"Students consolidated their mathematical skills using smarties for counting and graphing activities," she said.
"They participated in some scientific liquids measurement experiments and completed a design and construction challenge creating winter coats for their pillow pets using newspaper and other craft materials."
Other than that, students have also been enjoying weekly tennis lessons with Dave Ridland and Ridlands Tennis as well as music lessons delivered by the Hume Conservatorium.
For those thinking of having their children attend Tirranna Public School next year, enrollments have opened.
