If and when Rocky Hill Beacon is to replaced, would it be possible to install something more powerful (variable) as I believe the wattage was turned down years ago.
Or something in the the way of the vivid festival that could be a feature on Anzac Day and Lilac Time.
Also what about a festival along the lines of the Elvis and Abba festivals. Maybe Elton John (think how colourful that could be), ACDC or the like with trains or what nots bringing the patrons to town.

Expanding Landcare is urgently needed
With 24 million hectares burned across Australia in the 2019-2020 fires and an estimated 3 billion animals lost, preserving habitat on farms has a new and urgent importance.
Sonya Duus article (Dead trees and fallen timber are actually a precious resource, July 31) is a timely reminder of the habitat that old fallen trees and limbs can provide.
But if landowners fence off parts of their property for habitat they should be compensated financially.
The national Landcare budget was halved under the current government. It should be urgently restored and extended.

New social housing plan
So good that there will be additional social housing. So important for people to feel safe and housed.
I wonder if the new plan includes solar panels and water tanks so that the bill for those people are lightened into the future?

Council in General
The current council is too contradictive on certain matters around town.
Matters that should be dealt with easily are made too hard and turn companies and people off being willing to invest.
Then you have matters like this when you have a person that knows the rules and totally disregarded them.
Show some consistency??

Access to Run-of Waters
If Shannon Drive becomes the second entrance to Run-of-waters will it up grade Addison St, Mary St and Ridge St to cope with the extra traffic?
