The Hume Highway is closed in one direction after a truck smash near Yass early on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services are working to clear the major highway's northbound lanes after the truck crashed two kilometres north of the Yass service centre around 6.30am.
The driver has escaped uninjured, police said, but the rollover wreck is spread across one side of the dual carriageway and into the median strip.
The highway is closed in the area approaching Wargeila Road, north of the township.
Diversions are in place, sending traffic through Yass, along Yass Valley Way and then the Barton Highway before rejoining the Hume.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time as the alternative route adds to the journey.
They are also urged to exercise caution in the area.
