Two men have been charged after cannabis worth $3.75 million was located in the Southern Highlands.

Earlier this month, detectives from The Hume Police District commenced an investigation into the cultivation of cannabis in the region.
As part of inquiries, investigators executed a search warrant at a rural property on Marulan Street, Wingello, at about 10am on May 19.

Police seized more than 1800 mature cannabis plants growing in three large greenhouses on the property.
The total estimated potential street value of the seizure is $3.75 million.
Police also located a large drying room and sleeping quarters on the property.
The plants were removed from the greenhouses and certified by an agronomist before being destroyed on site with the assistance of the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Two men, aged 37 and 53, were arrested at the property and taken to Goulburn Police Station where they were charged with large commercial cannabis cultivation.
They were both refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court today, Wednesday, May 20.
Inquiries are continuing.
