A man and woman have faced court over the alleged cultivation of more than 500 cannabis plants at Marulan and Razorback.

Prasun Chandra Gupta, 42, is charged with possessing a prohibited drug, cultivating cannabis (enhanced indoor, commercial quantity), and cultivating cannabis (indictable quantity).
Karishma Gupta, 39, is also charged with cultivating cannabis (enhanced indoor, commercial quantity) and taking part in the supply of cannabis (less than an indictable amount, more than commercial quantity).
Prasun Gupta appeared in Goulburn Local Court for the second time on January 12 where his matter was adjourned to April 8.
He is granted conditional bail and has not yet entered a plea.
Karishma Gupta appeared for the first time in Goulburn Local Court on February 26 where her matter was adjourned to April 22.

Police said the find of 500 cannabis plants came after Hume District officers executed two search warrants on February 6.
At 9.30am they searched a Tickner Valley Road home, near Marulan. There they discovered an indoor cannabis crop of 97 plants and an outdoor cannabis crop of 145 plants.
It's estimated street value is $245,000.
Following inquiries, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command conducted a second search warrant at a home on Thurns Road, Razorback.
At that location, a further 281 plants and five registered firearms were seized.
