State Emergency Service (SES) crews are attending multiple call-outs in the Southern Tablelands, including four in Goulburn, two in Crookwelll and two in Yass.

In Goulburn: a large fallen tree is blocking a road on Marble Hill Road near Kingsdale: branches are down in a Fitzroy Street garden and across a ute at Caoura Place; and a whirlybird has blown off a roof on Opal Street, leaving a hole.

SES south-east zone superintendent Matthew Price said strong winds were being recorded in Goulburn, and expected worse to come today.
"We got a reading of 95km/h at Goulburn Airport earlier today," Mr Price said. "The gust could go up to about 120km/h in the middle to late afternoon.
"I expect the number of jobs in the area to increase a little over the afternoon as we see the gust pick up."
Elsewhere, crews were called to Woodhouselee Road, Laggan where a tree was blocking a road and to Greig Place in Murrumbateman where there were reports of roof damage.
With the strong and gusty winds expected to continue throughout the afternoon, the SES advise people to:
- Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
- Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
- Keep at least eight metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
- Stay vigilant and monitor conditions.
Trees that have been damaged by fire are likely to be unstable and so more likely to fall, they warned.
