There is a new bridge on the Wollondilly River Walkway that allows walkers and cyclists the chance to traverse the trail all the way down to near Riversdale.

The elevated bridge linking Kenmore Street to the section behind Tully Park Golf Club, which was Stage Two of the project, is now open.
The elevated bridge provides spectacular views of the river and NSW Police Academy, while also linking the two stages of the walkway, bringing the total length of the track to over 4.5km.
Solar lighting has also recently been installed along the entire length of the walkway, while two installations commissioned by the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery are also now complete, sparking conversations by the river.
"The Wollondilly Walkway has been a huge success for Goulburn and with the addition of a new bridge and solar lighting it will attract many more people, locals and visitors, to enjoy the track," Member for Hume Angus Taylor said.
His comments were echoed by Mayor Bob Kirk.
"We continue to receive such positive feedback on all of the work done by the Wollondilly River, which is fantastic," Cr Kirk said.
"It's a space for everyone to enjoy, and links to Riverside Park along with future planned stages will continue to make it accessible to everyone."
State Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman said the $400 million Stronger Country Communities fund is a once-in-a-generation investment, part of the NSW Government's $1.7 billion Regional Growth Fund.

"Grants like these are supporting local business and tradies, putting local suppliers to work and providing opportunities for our regional businesses," Mrs Tuckerman said.
"The Wollondilly Walking Track is a wonderful community asset and will be enjoyed by residents for many years to come."
Stage two was funded through the Federal Government Building Better Regions Fund ($937,147) and the NSW Government Stronger Country Communities Fund ($363,417).
An official opening of Stage Two of the Wollondilly River Walkway is planned for February, 2020.
This will coincide with a Parkrun and include a free barbecue breakfast. More details will be released as soon as a date is booked in.
