Minister for Police and Emergency Services David Elliot made the announcement when he visited the State Emergency Services (SES) Region Headquarters in Goulburn on Friday.
He thanked the SES volunteers for their dedication.
"The SES plays an important role in the preparedness and response to floods and storm damage. The better we can equip them, the safer our communities will be," Mr Elliott said.
"I hope this grant assists the SES here in Goulburn and shows the local first responders that the NSW Government values their efforts.
Ms Tuckerman said the grant would go to good use.
"There will never be enough words to thank the volunteers who stand up when our community need them the most, especially those who have been assisting with the recent damaging winds in Goulburn," she said.
"Goulburn needs the brave members of the SES and their efforts will never be forgotten."
