Strong to gale-force winds are affecting southeast NSW as a series of cold front make their way across southeast Australia. The conditions are expected to ease on Thursday.
Locations affected by gale force winds are Nowra, Batemans Bay, Cooma, Yass, Goulburn and Barrington Tops.
Severe weather is no longer occurring in the Central West Slopes and plains and Riverina districts, this warning has been cancelled.
The next warning will be issued by 11am.

A severe weather warning for damaging winds has been issued for the South Coast, Southern Tablelands, Central Tablelands and parts of the Central West Slopes and Plains.
The weather warning was issued before 11am on Wednesday. A cold front is expected to arrive on early Thursday morning.
The damaging winds are expected to average between 60 and 70 kilometres an hour with peak gusts in excess of 90 kilomeres an hour are expected for the Southern Tablelands, South Coast and the eastern parts of the Central Tablelands on Wednesday.
These wind speeds are expected to continue and expand to the Central West Slopes and Plains on Thursday morning.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
- Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
- Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
- Keep at least eight metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences.
- Report fallen power lines to either Ausgrid (131 388), Endeavour Energy (131 003), Essential Energy (132 080) or Evoenergy (131 093) as shown on your power bill.
- For emergency help in floods and storms, ring your local SES Unit on 132 500.
