On the night a video was shown of the achievements of Argyle Rotary over the past year. The music accompanying this video was Dancing Queen by Abba - a nod to outgoing president Heni Hardi, who runs regular Zumba dancing classes as a fundraiser for the club.
Ms Hardi said last year the club had put $16,369 back into the local community.
"Our biggest community project was Fit4Life with the PCYC, which focussed on selected high school students who were experiencing issues relating to their schooling," she said.
"The club also assisted many other organisations and individuals throughout the year.
"Members have worked in all extremes in the weather from being bitterly cold at the PCYC and football gates to excruciating heat at the race track.
"We have also worked alongside the other two Rotary clubs in Goulburn for the End Polio Now project."
A special guest at the meeting was Rotary International District 9710 Governor Margaret Hassall.
She gave a toast to Rotary International, saying "Rotary is about us and all the wonderful things that Rotary does."
"We are doing good in the world, giving service above self and we have leadership and fellowship," she said.
The new Board includes: Alan Whitten, Yenni Bent, Ted Kadziela, Karen Feng, Dick Kerins, Heni Hardi, Terry MacLoughlin, Mick Shea and Mick Cooper.
Ted Kadziela received the McMahon Achievement Award, while Dick Kerins received the Guardian Angel Award.
Police officer Mandy Thornthwaite thanked the club for their support with many activities at the PCYC, including the Fit4Life Program.
New member Edwin Dandadzi was inducted into the club on the evening.
Mr Dandadzi works as an employment consultant locally with MatchWorks.
In a speech, he said he was very grateful to the community of Goulburn and the Argyle Rotary Club for making him feel so welcome.
"I want to give back to the community that has given me so much," he said.
