A district man is recovering in hospital following an accident on Taralga Road on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old Middle Arm man was driving towards Goulburn at about 10.50pm when he lost control of his white Isuzu utility near Pontilla Lane, some 8km from the city, police said.
The vehicle hit a gum tree, causing extensive damage.
The man suffered internal injuries and was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital for treatment. Police said his injuries were not life threatening.
Officers took mandatory blood and urine tests.
