And it is believed the mammal will be making an appearance at the wetlands this Wednesday at 10am to celebrate World Wetlands Day.
Environmentalist Mark Selmes said those interested in the learning more about the wetlands and the ecological diversity of the area could come along to meet the volunteers who work so tirelessly at the area. “They might also get a cup of tea, courtesy of FROGs landcare,” he said.
