Murderer John Ernest Cribb has died at the age of 67 in Goulburn’s Correctional Centre.

A Corrective Services spokesperson told the Post Cribb was feeling sick the day before he was found dead in custody.
In August 1978, Cribb, who was on parole after serving a nine-year sentence for armed robbery, was convicted of kidnapping and murdering Valda Connell and her children Sally, 10, and Damien, 4 from their Baulkham Hills home.
In 1979, Cribb and another inmate escaped Morisset Hospital for the criminally insane, kidnapped and sexually assaulted two 17-year-old girls.
The Corrective Services Investigation Unit, which is part of the NSW Police Force, is investigating and will prepare a report on the death.
He was sentenced to three life terms.
All deaths in custody are referred to the NSW Coroner.
